Paula Radcliffe, World Record Holder, Marathon, in her own words (video)

Paula Radcliffe has run 2:15:25 for the women's marathon. She is a formidable athlete, and a women who juggles the needs of an elite athlete with that of being a devoted mother. Here is a short video from Nike running, in Paula's own words:

Paula Radcliffe could win her third ING New York City marathon tomorrow. Her 51:11 for ten miles at the BUPA North race attests to her fitness. If she is completely fit, I am not sure anyone can stay with her. If there are any cracks in her armor, be certian that Kara Goucher, Rita Jeptoo,Catherine Nderiba and Geta Wami will see what they can do to win the race for themselves.

In my mind, the women's race is quite compelling this year: World record holder versus Catherine Nderiba, Geta Wami, plus three elite debuts( Kara Goucher, Katie Macgregor, Kim Smith).

That field spells fast company for two hours, twenty-two minutes of serious running!
