[Audio] Valerie Adams Interview, Birmingham GP interview, by Larry Eder

Valerie Adams, well is a stud.

She is also one of the most articulate, relaxed and competitive athletes I have ever met. She loves to compete, is confident in her system over fifteen years, and gets that, with her level of competition, pain is part of it, sometimes.

We interviewed Valerie on Saturday, 23 August. On Sunday, 24 August, Valerie Adams threw 19.96 meters, and won her fifty-fifth straight shot put competition.

Adams loves her event, she also knows her event.

The interview was fun because Valerie does not suffer fools. She likes honest questions and she gives honest, colorful answers.

I call her the shot put goddess and I mean that.

If you get a chance to watch her compete. Do it. Hock your used car, buy an airline ticket and fly to Zurich to watch Valerie Adams throw on the street shot put next week.

If you show up, I will buy you an adult beverage!
