Bolt to stop for 2 weeks
KINGSTON (JAM): L´Equipe informs that sprint star Usain Bolt needs to stop his training for two weeks because of sprained left ankle. "I have a great coach who knows how to be positive in all circumstances", Bolt was quoted as saying. "I must say that I have known worse situations than this." As he points out it is only a minor thing which should not bring in danger his plan for 2016 and that is to try for the third triple of gold medals at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
Editor's note: At Usain Bolt's level and at his position in the sprint world food chain, this sounds like a wise decision by Coach Mills. Usain's greatest wins, in my mind, were last summer. There was no way most thought he could win the 100 meters. In fact, he out raced Justin Gatlin. That win made him unbeatable in the 200 meters.
Can Usain Bolt win in Rio? Yes, he can. After his wins in 2015, I believe that Usain Bolt can, if he is fit, or close to fit, as he was in 2015, win against just about anyone.
