De Grasse plans to attack Canadian records
GAINESVILLE (USA): Canadian 100 m World medalist Andre De Grasse who turned pro said after Florida Relays his next meet will be MtSAC Relays in Walnut in April. He will still decide about the event. His first international meet is planned to be the Jamaica Invitational on May 7 in the 200 m against Asafa Powell. De Grasse confirmed that it will be his second visit to Jamaica after he was part of photo-shoot in January with Usain Bolt and Asafa Powell. He also said in an interview with trackalerts.com he may target the Canadian records this year. It is 9.84 by Donovan Bailey and Bruny Surin in the 100 m and his own 19.88 in the 200 m from last year.
