The athletes clearly enjoyed this unique change of environment at Brussels Grand Place. "This is by far the most beautiful location I have ever competed at," said an excited Michelle Carter. "It was pure fun. I love Brussels! "It's a fantastic setting for shot putting, it was very special," Valerie Adams agreed. "What a big, enthusiastic crowd as well, they were amazing! Getting to play our own songs during our attempts gave us an energy boost too. It was brilliant!"
