I wish I could see the Cottbus Meeting, as the fields are awesome. Kendricks and Lisek are so much fun, as is the women's HJ field as well! An excellent meet!

Top names for Cottbus

COTTBUS (GER): The 18th Springer-Meeting in Cottbus planned for January 29 has excellent line-ups. World champion and World bronze medalist Sam Kendricks and Piotr Lisek are the headliners of men pole vault. Also entered is 2015 World champion Shawn Barber along with 2014 World Indoor champion Kostadinos Filippidis. Another World champion (from 2011) is Poland´s Pawel Wojciechowski. Also in the list Swedish Melker Svaard Jacobson, Briton Charlie Myers, US Cole Walsh and Robert Sobera from Poland. Second event of the meet, women´s high jump has one big question mark. That is the participation of World champion Mariya Lasitskene. It is not clear whether she would be able to get the ANA Status by January 29. Also in the list the Doha silver medalist Yaroslava Mahuchikh and her team-mate and fourth placer Yuliya Levchenko. Poland´s record holder Kamila Licwinko with European Indoor champion 2017 Airine Palsyte are adding high value to already excellent list. Also jumping British Morgan Lake, Croatia´s Ana Simic, Romanian Daniela Stanciu and home Imke Onnen.
