Our topics:
1. My first visit to an Olympics was LA. I was able to get tickets from my boss, Bob Anderson, at Runners World, for $60. Saw the 10,000m with Marti Vanio and Alberto Cova and the 800m with Seb Coe. Went home, purchased first color TV to watch rest of Olympics. It was electric!
2. My first trip out side US coincided with 1995 Goteborg World Champs. Saw Jonathan Edwards TJ WRs, Michael Johnson, and Haile Gebrselassie. Kim Batten and Tonja Buford Bailey break 400m hurdle WR was, well life changing!
3. In Goteborg 1995, went to first and only RAVE, and spoke to a Hedgehog, for more details, you have to listen to hear this one!
