1. On this episode I speak about dealing with Diabetes, and Heart Disease, and how to be pro-active.
a. Healthy A1c, a test for diabetes is as follows (per Web MD):
1. Under 5.6 and you are not diabetic
2.5.6-6.6 considered pre diabetic.
3. I have an A1c of 7.4 and have worked hard to bring down from 11.6 by walking, cutting out booze, cutting out sodium, cutting out processed foots, eating more fruit, veggies, and diligently controlling anything sodium in my diet.
4. For me diabetes affects my heart, my kidneys and other issues.
5. Please, please see a doctor once a year for a full check up.

He currently manages the content and marketing development of the RunningNetwork, The Shoe Addicts, and RunBlogRun. Of RunBlogRun, his daily pilgrimage with the sport, Larry says: "I have to admit, I love traveling to far away meets, writing about the sport I love, and the athletes I respect, for my readers at runblogrun.com, the most of anything I have ever done, except, maybe running itself."
