Our topics:
1. Christian Noble was right, there are five types of people you should not take advice on regarding running.
2. The importance of coaches, thanking Ralph Passarelli S.J., Rich Grawer, Jim Marheinecke (DeSmet), Ray Devlin S.J., Lynn Muth, Jesse Ochoa, Steve Pensinger, Steve Polley, Dan Cruz, and Dan Durante.

3. Coaching with Terry Ward and Joe Mangan (and Hank Ketels) were highlights of my life.
4. Grand Slam Track, why MJ should have shut down after Kingston. Now he owes millions and has only paid appearance money.
5. Lausanne celebrating 50th anniversary!

Special thanks to #NIKErunning. I have worked with NIKE since 1985. Tony Bignell and Brett Holts are working hard to put NIKE running back on the right global trajectory. Thanks for their support on product for reviews and supporting our coverage of major events.

Larry Eder has had a 52-year involvement in the sport of athletics. Larry has experienced the sport as an athlete, coach, magazine publisher, and now, journalist and blogger. His first article, on Don Bowden, America's first sub-4 minute miler, was published in RW in 1983. He currently manages the content and marketing development of the RunningNetwork, The Shoe Addicts, and RunBlogRun. Of RunBlogRun, his daily pilgrimage with the sport, Larry says: "I have to admit, I love traveling to far away meets, writing about the sport I love, and the athletes I respect, for my readers at runblogrun.com, the most of anything I have ever done, except, maybe running itself." Also does some updates for BBC Sports at key events, which he truly enjoys.
