#CoffeewithLarry, Episode 803, October 21, 2025, Media challenges in the modern world, stories about the Chicago Marathon

This is my daily chat with #RunBlogRun viewers and track fans on all things track & field!

Our topics:

1. A great set-up in Chicago, for media.

2. The challenge is that, around the marathon world, there is a lack of sports coverage in local newspapers.

3. In Chicago, it was RW, LetsRun, Race Results Weekly, RunBlogRun, Flotrack, Runnerspace, and Track & Field News.

4. How do we develop a new generation of media in sports?

5. Most popular on social media? Katie Moon and Femke Bol are very popular among our readers.

6. Connor Mantz delivered in Chicago, per media outlets, his phone is going crazy! Well done, Connor.

7. We are getting ready for New York next week!

8. I am looking forward to my first indoor meeting of the year, the NB Indoor Grand Prix, which will be held January 24, 2026. www.nbindoorgrandprix.com
