What is Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone racing in 2026, 2027 and 2028?

That remains a mystery!

And, that is fun!

Sydney has now run 50.62 for the 400m hurdles (she has broken WR six times). Sydney has set AR at 400m twice (48.29 in semi-final and 47.78 in final). In 2023, Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone dusted the best 200 meter runners in the world at the LA Grand Prix. She is world class from 200 meters to 400m hurdles.

And do not discount the 800 meters.

In the mixed zone at the Tokyo 2025 Worlds, Sydney told the media, and I quote; ” I trust Bobby Kersee.”

What if Bobby Kersee, her coach suggests the 800 meters?

Stay tuned!

Sydney open to options

LOS ANGELES (USA): Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone thinks she can run faster in the 400, while becoming the first woman to run under 50 seconds in the 400 hurdles “is always in the back of my mind,” she said. Informs nbcnews.com. Sydney and her coach, Bobby Kersee, have “definitely floated the idea of some sort of a double, what that looks like,” McLaughlin-Levrone told NBC News about potential double at LA Games 2028. “I think the options are still open. There’s a lot of different directions you could go with it.” Also she added about trying the 200 m: “I definitely would love to run some more 200s in the future. I was hoping in 2024 to dip under 22 (seconds). … So maybe something like that. And then, you know, maybe going back to the hurdles for a little bit. I’m not really sure what the landscape fully looks like, but I think the exciting part is that there’s options and opportunity.”
