Haile Gebrselassie, a man who has held over 28 world records, has moved from the world of competition, to the world of governance. Haile will now lead the Ethiopian Athletics Federation after his election to the President of his federation. Sebastian Coe, President of the IAAF welcomed his election, and encouraged Haile Gebrselassie as an example for Kenyan sport as well.
