Highest number in men 4×100 m
NASSAU (BAH): In total 546 runners from 35 countries are expected to 3rd IAAF World Relays in Nassau this weekend. The 2nd edition in 2015 had 669 runners from 43 countries entered (one more event was staged). From the 2017 figure 283 men and 216 women. The highest number of teams is in the men 4×100 with 21 followed by men 4×400 m 19 and women 4×400 m 17. In the women 4×100 m 14 teams are entered. In the 4×200 m 15 men and 10 women teams. The remaining three events will have straight finals. Men 4×800 m has 7 and women 5 teams. In the first time organised Mixed 4×400 m relay exactly 8 teams are entered.
