OSLO (NOR, Jul 6): At Boysen Memorial at the Bislett Stadium young Jakob Ingebrigtsen clocked national U18 5000 m record 13:49.54. Amalie Iuel achieved 52.19 and 56.87 in 400 m and 400 m hurdles and Jonathan Quarcoo posted windy 10.17 (+2.8) in the 100 m.

RunBlogRun opines: Jakob continues to develop his fine middle distance running skills, with recent 3:58.07, 3:56.08 for mile and now this fine 5000 meter run. We look forward to seeing him race again. We understand that the entire Ingebrigtsen family runs. More on this colorful family as the season progresses.
