Da Sliva, Soares injured, not coming with Brazil team
SAO PAULO (BRA): Brazil will have a big team of 65 athletes, not only olympic winner in pole vault Thiago Braz is not travelling due to an injury, but also South American champion in triple jump Nubia Soares. Top hopes for the position in finals are shot putter Darlan Romani, hammer thrower Wagner Domingos and steeple runner Altobeli da Silva. Hopes for good position are also connected with walkers Caio Bonfim and Erica de Sena.
