Eliza McCartney clears 4.90 meters, and is set for bigger heights

Eliza McCartney is the 2016 bronze medalist at the Rio Olympics. She is also the New Zealand record holder in the pole vault. As she prepares for the 2018 Commonwealth Games, Eliza cleared 4.90 meters, although the run up makes it not elgible for the new national record. Jeremy McColl, the coach of Eliza, told NZ City that he believes that she can clear five meters. Having observed Eliza competing, this writer is convinced that Ms. McCartney will soar over greater heights.
