The men’s LJ turned out to be one of the most exciting events of the weekend at the World Indoors in Birmingham. Luvo Manyonga was demoted to second place with the wondrous jumping of young Cuban phenom Juan Miguel Echevarria. This is the second part of a three part video from his post event video, filmed by the Shoe Addicts. We have included the questions in English, then translated into Spanish by the IAAF’s Anna Legnani, and then translated back to English. Special thanks to Anna for her kind help.

Translation is a tough job. However, Anna Legnani captured the youth and ambition of the young Echevarria. This young jumper will be around for a very long time.
