The long jump performance of Juan Miguel Echevarria in Birmingham were exciting. The competition between Echevarria, Manyonga and Dendy was a classic, with big fifth round and fourth round jumps.

In this final part of the Juan Miguel Echevarria interview, we learn about his training, his focus and his enthusiasm for the event. Amazingly articulate, and thoughtful, this nineteen year old should be gracing us with his presence for many years to come.

Thanks to The Shoe addicts on vidoe and Anna Legnani, IAAF, on the fine translation.
