MONACO (MON): World champion Tom Walsh leads a strong men’s shot field already on Thursday in Port Hercule (part of EBS Herculis DL meeting) against Olympic winner Ryan Crouser who is reportedly back in shape. Also in the field Poland´s record holder Michal Haratyk, Czech record holder Tomas Stanek, South American record holder Darlan Romani, double World champion David Storl and last year DL winner Darrell Hill. Also competing will be World decathlon champion Kevin Mayer. Women shot put will have World leader and World champion Gong Lijiao against European leader Christina Schwanitz, in shape Poland´s Paulina Guba and legendary Valerie Adams. Meeting records from the stadium have high quality with 22.56 and 20.60.
