New ground on social media
ZURICH (SUI): Weltklasse Zürich is breaking new ground on social media. Facebook Live will bring fans even closer to the meeting’s stars. They will also provide them with a daily glance behind the scenes of the IAAF Diamond League final event. And long jumper Alexandra Wester (@alexavalerie) and 110m hurdles legend Colin Jackson (@colinrayjackson) will share their own Weltklasse Zürich 2018 experience. On Saturday, 1 September, two days after the Weltklasse Zürich competitions, Switzerland’s biggest athletics talents will take over at Letzigrund Stadium. They will be competing in 18 categories of the national UBS Kids CUP final event. More than 170 000 kids – more than ever – participated in the qualifying competitions.
