Some updates on the DL Champs part deux, in Brussels, on 6 September.
Van Damme entries
BRUSSELS (BEL): Entry lists have been published for this Friday’s AG Van Damme Memorial Brussels IAAF Diamond League final. Among the highlights, in the 200m, Noah Lyles will be chasing a double after his 100m win in Zurich. Sifan Hassan, who won the 1500m in Zurich, is also looking for a second as she goes in the 5000m against Konstanze Klosterhalfen, Agnes Tirop and Hellen Obiri. In the 400m, Michael Norman will compete for the first time since the US Championships. Timothy Cheruiyot will be in action for the first time since 12 July as he faces Roland Musagala, who has won at the last two Diamond Leagues, in the 1500m. Either or both of Sandra Perkovic (discus) or Caterine Ibarguen (long jump) could extend their record number of DL titles to seven. Meanwhile, Christian Taylor (triple jump) could tie Renaud Lavillenie on seven at the top of the men’s leaderboard.
