Coleman back to sprinting, Brazier is out
ALBUQUERQUE (USA): World 100m champion Christian Coleman will compete indoors for the time since 2018 when he lines up in the 60m at the USATF Indoor Championships in Albuquerque this weekend. It was at the same meeting and venue two years ago that he set his world record of 6.34 before going on to win the world indoor title. Among the rivals World leader Demek Kemp. Ryan Crouser is confirmed for shot put, Jenn Suhr against Sandi Morris in pole vault, Tori Franklin vs Keturah Orji in triple jump. World leader Mikiah Brisco is in the 60 m, Ajee Wilson and Wadeline Jonathas are favorites for 800 m and 400 m. Millrose sensation Elinor Purrier is set for 1500 m and 3000 m, in the shorter one against Shelbi Houlihan. Colleen Quigley and Courtney Frerichs are also in the 3000 m. Vashti Cunningham and Erik Kynard are in the high jump. Late scratch is 800 m World champion Donavan Brazier.
