July-August dates 2021 is the hope
TOKYO (JPN): The IOC is hoping for July to August dates for Tokyo 2021, Yomiuri newspaper has reported. John Coates, the IOC’s Coordination Commission chief for Tokyo, said they were looking for a slot between Wimbledon (mid-July) and US Open (late-August) tennis tournaments. “We want to more or less finalise the dates in four weeks’ time,” he said.
