VIRUS IMPACT
NEW YORK (USA): The Professional Road Running Organization (PRRO) announced last week that due to the impacts of COVID-19 its 2020 season will be cancelled. Instead, the PRRO Circuit will restart in 2021 with the Publix Gasparilla Half-Marathon next February. As RRW informs that schedule will in 2021 have after Publix Gasparilla Half in Tampa on February 21 also Cherry Blossom Ten Mile on April 11 in Washington,DC. Then Lilac Bloomsday in Spokane on May 2 and Boilermaker 15 km in Utica on July 11.
AUSTIN, (USA): The timeline for the 2021 Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays has been moved up a week, as The University of Texas’ premier Track and Field meet will now be held March 24-27, 2021, at Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin. The meet was originally scheduled for March 31-April 3.
ZURICH (SUI): Athletes in Switzerland will be back in training on May 11 of course under special conditions. Competitions are expected to resume after June 8.
COPENHAGEN (DEN): The top Danish one day meet Copenhagen Games (Continental Tour Bronze) were postponed for 2021.
