Athletics Chat Episode 15

It has been 15 weeks that we have had chats on a weekly basis, discussing the challenges in the athletics world that week.

Stuart Weir lives in Oxford, England and I live in San Jose, California (at this time, much of the time, I live outside Madison, Wisconsin).

In Week 15, August 24, we discussed the following topics:

1. The Russian affair-a new blockbuster book on doping and sports

2. London marathon-the elite event will happen Oct. 4, 2020. How will it happen? How can it happen?
3. Stockholm Diamond League-one of best meets in Stockholm in recent years.
4. Our favorite peformances from Stockholm.

5. Deep thoughts on the abbreviated season in 2020.

Of RunBlogRun, his daily pilgrimage with the sport, Larry says: "I have to admit, I love traveling to far away meets, writing about the sport I love, and the athletes I respect, for my readers at runblogrun.com, the most of anything I have ever done, except, maybe running itself." Also does some updates for BBC Sports at key events, which he truly enjoys.

Theme song: Greg Allman, " I'm no Angel."
