In 2011, The Shoe Addicts, a video collective, had just begun. They did this video for RunBlogRun as part of a project for Nike. The idea was to promote the Prefontaine Classic, which was coming up at the end of May 2011.
The video is focused on David Oliver. They captured his charm, athleticism and swagger. Pushing the star power of athletes such as David Oliver was one of the ways that The Shoe Addicts got the attention of our readers and viewers.
It was also one of their first videos.
The Shoe Addicts are Algernon Felice, Mike Deering, and Adam Johnson-Eder.
Since then, The Shoe Addicts have produced more than a thousand videos for RunBlogRun and other clients..
