EA Council to decide about 2024 European Championships
LAUSANNE (POL): European Athletics council will on Tuesday evening at the 160th meeting decide between Rome and Katowice-Silesia (stadium in Chorzow) as venue for the 2024 European Athletics Championships. The council meeting on Tuesday to Thursday, which follows the executive board meeting, will also allocate the 2023 European Athletics Indoor Championships (candidate Istanbul) and 2023 European Athletics U23 Championships (candidate Espoo) . Decision about European Team Championships Superleague 2021 host is also expected (Minsk withdrew). Updates will be given on preparations for other events in the pipeline and there will be reports on EA’s 2021 budget and 2020-23 financial plan.
