NN Running Team announced today that they have signed Jo Fukuda, one of Japan’s finest marathoners. Fukuda took 3rd in the 2019 Fukuoka Marathon. Jo Fukuda is the first Asian marathoner to sign with the NN running team.

The NN Running Team is delighted to confirm the arrival of Jo Fukuda from Japan. The 29-year old marathoner is the very first Asian athlete of the NN Running Team.
Jo Fukuda is a well-known runner in Japan, last year he placed third in the International Fukuoka Marathon. Being part of the NN Running Team is a next step in his career. With the support of the NN Running Team Jo has the possibility to train in Kaptagat (Kenya) with team members like Eliud Kipchoge and Geoffrey Kamworor.

During the Fukuoka Marathon on December 6, Fukuda will race for the first time in the NN Running Team jersey: “I’m extremely happy, the moment has finally arrived. It is the beginning of a new journey for me. I’m honoured and grateful to join the best team in the world, the NN Running Team. I will work hard and try my best to become one of the fastest marathoners in Japan.”
