Gesa Felicitas Krause is an exciting German steeplechaser. Gesa has taken 3 medals in European Athletics Championships, with bronze in Helsinki 2012, 5th in Zurich 2014, then, gold in Amsterdam 2016, and gold in Berlin 2018. In World Championships, Gesa was 5th in Daegu 2011, and then took bronzes in Beijing 2015 and Doha 2019. Krause has competed in London 2012 (7th ) and Rio 2016 (6th).

Gesa Felicitas Krause is coached by Wolfgang Heinig, husband of Katrin Dorre Heinig.

What do I like about Gesa? Her kick is wicked, and the last lap in Doha was something to behold.

On Feb 7, 2021, Gesa Felicitas Krause will be doing an indoor 2000m steeplechase.

DORTMUND (GER): Gesa Felicitas Krause is planning to compete in the 2000m steeplechase at the PSD Bank Indoor Meeting in Dortmund on 7 February, informs Leichtathletik.de. Due to coronavirus measures, the meeting is taking place behind closed doors.
