MIRAMAR (USA, Mar 27): Sensational long jump at The Florida International “Pro Addition” meet. Chantel Malone from the British Virgin Islands leaped to a superb national record 708 (+1.4) ahead of Dariya Klishina 705 (+2.7, legal 701 +0.8). For Klishina 5th 7+m mark of the career in the first competition since July 2019. In men´s long jump Marquise Goodwin 812 (+1.2). Sprints were wind-aided. Andrew Hudson 10.04 (+2.7) in the 100 m and also high school star Jaylen Slade 20.27 (+2.5) over Trayvon Bromell 20.29. Tumbleweed TC (Bracy; De Grasse; Bromell; Oduduru) clocked 38.89 in the 4×100 m. Puertorican hurdler Jasmine Camacho-Quinn won the 200 m in 22.60 (+1.3) over British 400 m runner Lina Nielsen 23.13 PB and another Briton, 100 m specialist Darryl Neita 23.18 PB. 2017 World champion at 100 m Torie Bowie in her first competition since Doha Worlds won the 100 m in windy 11.46 (+2.8). Nigerian star Blessing Okagbare was second in the 400 m in 53.21 PB (winner Italian Gia Trevisan 52.88).

Opening her 2021 outdoor campaign, Blessing Okagbare chose to compete in the 400-metre dash at the Florida International “Pro Addition” meet in Miramar.
