BATON ROUGE (USA, Apr 24): LSU Alumni Gold saw superb World leads. Noah Williams 44.30 in the 400 m ahead of Bryce Deadmon 44.58 PB. Another one in long jump 844 (+0.8) by JuVaughn Harrison and third by World record holder Mondo Duplantis 590 in season opener (one attempt at six meters). 200m World leader Terrance Laird clocked windy 19.82 (+2.4) in the 200 m over Micaiah Harris 20.08. In open 200 m Andrew Hudson 20.29 (+1.7, he also won the 100 m in 10.17) over 400 m runner Vernon Norwood 20.30 PB (also won his 400 m race in 45.17). Robert Dunning in 13.28 PB (+1.9) beat Jamaican Damion Thomas 13.37. Sean Burrell improved in the 400 m hurdles to 49.12 and Canada clocked fast 38.49 in the 4×100 m beating LSU 38.58 (also 3:01.85 in the 4×400 m).

In women 100 m Aleia Hobbs went 10.91 (+0.7) over Tamara Clark 10.96 PB and Mikiah Brisco with Symone Mason (PB) both 11.02. Kynnedy Flannel won the 200 m in 22.75 (+0.6). Open 400 m for Jamaican Chris-Ann Gordon 50.84 and in college race another Jamaican Charokee Young 51.49 PB over Nigerian U20 Favour Ofili also 51.49 PB (0.005 difference). Hurdles were windy, Tonea Marshall 12.53 (+2.6) over long jump sensation Tara Davis 12.61. Jamaican Ackera Nugent won the other race in 12.87 (+0.9) what is 9th tied U20 all-time best mark. Deborah Acquah improved Ghana´s long jump record to 681 (+1.6) and Kylee Carter improved in javelin to 60.69. LSU won the 4×100 m in 42.70 but lost in 3:29.01 the 4×400 m to Texas AM 3:27.16 with Athing Mu as anchor 49.87.
