The folks at adidas and Global Athletics did it once again. Coming back from a cancelled 2020, adidas Boost Boston assembled smoking fields and a fine above-ground track, with a team seasoned over four years, and the athletes did the rest.

Salmon all-time best 24.86, SMU 22.08, I. Young 9.94, a surprise from Canada


BOSTON (USA, May 23): Shiann Salmon from Jamaica clocked an all-time best 24.86 (+0.1) in the 200 m hurdles on the straight at the adidas Boost Boston Games (WACT Gold). Second Shamier Little also below the former mark of 24.91. Close to all-time best 22.10 in men´s 200 m hurdles Brazilian Alison dos Santos with 22.12 (-0.6). In the straight 200 m, Shaunae Miller-Uibo clocked 22.08 (-0.1) and surprise men winner Jerome Blake from Canada 19.89 (-0.3) ahead Zharnel Hughes 19.93 with Wayde Van Niekerk easing into the finish 20.86 (4th) with little injury. World indoor record holder Grant Holloway got his event 13.20 (0.0) and Keni Harrison women hurdle 12.49 (-0.9). In the 150 m, Lynny Irby topped women in 16.53 (-1.5) and Jereem Richards men 14.75 (+0.1) beating Yohan Blake 14.935 and Andrew Hudson 14.940. In the 100 m women, main race Aleia Hobbs clocked 11.05 (+0.5, in B race Kiara Parker 11.07 +0.4). Men´s 100 m final was won by Isiah Young 9.94 (+0.5) over Noah Lyles 10.10 (10.03 in heats). Earlier on the road, Nikki Hiltz 4:31 and Clayton Murphy 4:01 won the miles and in the 600 m Marco Arop 1:15 and Natoya Goule 1:24.
