Wahhh! What a way to finish my season! 🤯

Course Record, British Record & European Record (we think!!) I could not have asked for a better way to end 2021.

Eilish McColgan ended her 2021 season with some amazing running over 10 miles! Eilish set a course record, British record and European record, with her ten miles in 50:43 at the Great South Run!

The Great South Run is one of the mega races produced by the Great Run Company across Great Britian and Northern Ireland. This one has some serious history!

Eilish McColgan won the Great South Run (10 miles) in 50:43.

She also took nearly a minute off her 51:38 PB as she won the event for the third time on Sunday (Oct 17). She also beat Sonia O’Sullivan’s 2008 course record and Paula Radcliffe’s GB record!

Liz Nuttall-McColgan won the Great South Run twice in the mid-1990s with a best of 52:00.

Jack Rowe won the men’s race in 47:20 as Emile Cairess finished runner-up in 47:38 and Daniel Jarvis third in 48:48.
