Grant Holloway will have two races in Europe. His first competition was in front of the five thousand fans in the Stade Couvert in the Pas de Calais. Holloway ran 7.40 in his first heat. In the 60m hurdle final, Grant Holloway battled Wilhelm Belocian, Pascal Martinot Lagarde, Jarret Eaton, Daniel Roberts, Andrew Pozzi, among others.

In the final, Grant Holloway followed up the 7.40 with his new WL of 7.35 over 60m hurdles. His start was good and by mid-race, Grant Holloway was nearly a hurdle ahead! Afterward, he thanked the fans, which he did not have in 2021 when he raced in Lieven.

What will he do in Birmingham this coming weekend?

Marcell Jacobs is the 2021 Tokyo gold medalist at the 100 meters and part of Italy’s 4x100m gold medal relay team. In his heat, Marcel, aka Crazy Long Jumper, ran 6.53. In the final, Marcel ran 6.50, to take the 60-meter final. This was the third 60m win this winter for the Italian superstar.

Holloway and Jacobs were two of the huge stars in the Meeting de Lieven.
