frankly, who can argue? Breaking the American record twice, terribly close to the WR,
David Oliver is a man on a mission. His form is top notch, his speed is honed, and his
focus is on those 110 meters, with hurdles. When RBR asked David’s coach, Brooks
Johnson, if he could run 12.85, Brooks responded, ” It will just have to be the right
conditions!”
I first interviewed David in Beijing in 2008, and he stood out. Comfortable in his own
skin, David was enjoying his bronze medal from Beijing and the interest in his event.
2010 is a different year. David Oliver is showing that he should be considered one of
the key players for the 2011 Daegu World Championships.
Good luck to David Oliver in Rieti on 29 August, 2010!
