BOSTON (USA): Olympic champion Peres Jepchirchir (2:17:16) and London Marathon winner Joyciline Jepkosgei (2:17:43) headline a stacked women’s line-up in the Boston Marathon on 18 April. The line-up also includes two more sub-2:20 competitors in Ethiopia’s Degitu Azimeraw (2:17:58) and Kenya’s Edna Kiplagat (2:19:50) while other notable entrants include former world half marathon record-holder Ababel Yeshaneh from Ethiopia (2:20:51), Olympic bronze medallist Molly Seidel (2:24:42) and last year’s third placer Mary Wacera from Kenya (2:25:20).
