Mary Cain broke the World Junior Record for the 1,000 meters at the 2014 New Balance Indoor Grand Prix on Saturday, February 8, 2014. Mary Cain’s 2:35.80 for the 1,000 meters was a four second improvement on her previous record, from last month. 

This interview was done on Friday, February 7, 2014 at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix Press Conference. Mary Cain spoke to Larry Eder about her first six months as a professional athlete and what she is looking for in 2014.
