Second Ashley Spencer 51.71. Another top mark was world junior indoor record by Kendall Williams in pentathlon 4635 (also college record) after 8.21-188-12.05-632-2:17.31. Second Erica Bougard 4586 points PB. Meet record in women 4×400 m for Oregon 3:27.40 ahead of Texas 3:27.42. In the 60 m sprints Dentarius Locke 6.52 PB ahead of Ryan Milus 6.57 PB and 200 m winner Diondre Batson 6.58. Surprise in women 60 m as Remona Burchell clocked 7.11 PB to win ahead of Dezerea Bryant 7.12 PB and Jasmine Todd 7.16 PB. Trinidad´s world leader Deon Lendore fulfilled favorite role in the men 400 m with 45.21 over Arman Hall 45.52, but in another final Vernon Norwood for overall second with 45.46. Close hurdles decisions. Jamaican Omar McLeod 7.576 by two thousands beat Eddie Lovett of Virgin Islands 7.578. In women hurdles four runners were in 16 thousands: Nelvis 7.923, McReynolds 7.930, Stowers 7.937 and Harrison 7.939 (all PB). In technical events top marks by Ryan Crouser in shot put 21.21, new Canadian record for Shawn Barber in pole vault 575 (second Sam Kendricks 570). On the women side Cristina Hillmar 18.15 in shot over Croatian Valentina Muzaric 17.89 NR. Curtis Beach scored good PB 6190 points to win the heptathlon over Estonian Maicel Uibo 6044 also PB. In the 800 m finals winners Canadian Brandon McBride 1:48.17 and Laura Roesler 2:03.85. Abbey D´Agostino got another title in the 3000 m 9:34.47 and the same for Edward Cheserek 8:11.59 as Lawi Lalang did not run and was second in mile 4:02.81 (winner Anthony Rotich 4:02.54). LSU won the 4×400 m in 3:04.10 as favorites after collisions were disqualified (Texas AM and Florida).
