This is the program from Fortius Media Group, Coffee with Larry. We post this program on RunBlogRun FB LIVE and the blog, RunBlogRun. This program is for Monday, October 24, 2022.
This is Coffee with Larry. This program began in June 2022. In September 2022, we began posting
the program on RunBlogRun. This is a LIVE FB daily news show, and I publish it wherever I am inhabiting
at the time. Now, I am back in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, after spending the summer in Springfield and
Portland, Oregon, San Jose and San Francisco, California and now, finally, after four months,
lovely Wisconsin.
This is my daily chat with #RunBlogRun viewers and track fans on all things track & field!
This is #coffeewithLarry, for Monday, October 24, 2022.
Our topics:
1. Femke Bol is the 2022 European Athletics Female AOY! silvers at #WCHOregon22 in 400m hurdles, Mixed 4x400m. At European Champs, 400m hurdles, 400m flat, and 4x400m relays, all gold!
2. Mondo Duplantis and Jakob Ingebrigtsen were co-winners for Male European Athletics AOY!
3. Mondo won gold at the World Indoor, World Outdoor, and European Champs, plus World record of 6.21m!
4. Jakob Ingebrigtsen won gold at 5,000m, silver at 1,500m at #WCHoregon22, golds at 5,000m and 1,500m at European Champs!
5. European Athletics bringing much to the sport!
6. How do we make the sport more enticing for marketers?
7. Cross country continues to be hot, and Katelyn Tuohy is undefeated. Stanford Men’s XC and NC State Women’s team are pretty impressive!
8. When will a brand get smart enough to sponsor NCAA XC Champs on ESPN?
9. Happy anniversary to Tom Wysocki and Ruth Wysocki!
10. Stay safe, and get your annual cardio test!
