Tim Maloney is the President of the Bank of America in Illinois. He is also a runner. In fact, I might call him a runner’s banker. Without the belief of Tim and his team, the Bank of America would never have become a sponsor of the Chicago Marathon.

Tim Maloney has that “vision thing”. He gets it. For Bank of America to be a good corporate citizen in the Windy City, the Bank of America Chicago Marathon is a highly visible and successful way to contribute to the city of Chicago.
I asked Tim Maloney three questions: Why should runners come and race Chicago?, What is the economic impact of the marathon to the Windy City, and What is the meeting of the art world and the marathon world with free entries into the Magritte exhibit at the Art Institute of Chicago?
Thanks to Tim Maloney for his time and enthusiasm. This interview was done at the Press Conference for the Chicago marathon on Thursday, October 10, 2014.
