Laura Roesler is the winner of the 2014 Bowerman Award, the Heisman award of collegiate track and field. The truth is this: the three final candidates were formidable! 

Laura’s specialty is the 800 meters. In her post award comments, she thanked Coached Robert Johnson, noting that she was pretty high maintenance, but said that she hoped, in the end, it was all worth it.

RunBlogRun caught up with Oregon star and asked her to talk about her award and what she loves about the 800 meters.
