    Larry,
I hope you’re doing very well.

Have you heard any inside chatter about the delayed decision on the location of the 2024 US T&F Olympic Team Trials?
I’ve been to the last four trials, and they announced the trials location by spring each time. I’m getting antsy!

    Longtime reader and blog fan.
I met you in Hamilton Hall dining hall at U of O in a past year.
    Cheers,

      Dick,
Hello. Political mine field. My take? It should be LA and World Champs 2027 should be in LA, but, I fear that Eugene is hoping to host, and the global reaction to Eugene 2022 means that small chance of another WC in North America for some time. Eugene is not bad place, it is good place, but lack of control over hotel prices, decrease in flights to Eugene, terribly high prices on them, and frustration by athletes and middle class families who come to champs is hurting championships overall.
