Our topics:

1. Alex Ohanian sent a tweet accusing MJ Gold of requiring signed women athletes to get approval from Grand Slam Track before they sign for another circuit.

hey @MJGold I loved seeing you + @BillAckman fast follow @ATHLOS by launching @GrandSlamTrack (great to see more people investing in athletics!), but it’s disappointing you’re requiring these women to get permission from you & Bill in order to compete in other leagues. It’s not…

— Alexis Ohanian 🇦🇲 (@alexisohanian) October 2, 2024

2. The tweet was an example of the sport’s biggest problems, which include the protection of many small territories.

3. In 1991, Steve Miller, then NIKE Sports Marketing Director, organized a Meeting of the Minds, where many in the culture came together.

4. For the sport to progress, Meeting of the Minds 2 should happen, bringing the various circuits, World Athletics, European Athletics, athlete managers, meet managers, USATF and media.

5. The in fighting will hurt the sport.

6. We will be updating on HOKA FootLocker National Cross Country Championships.

7. We will update on the NIKE NXN series as well!

8. Diamond League has 15 events in 2025, the schedule has been released, and the prize money is increased. More on that this weekend.
