CLERMONT-FERRAND (FRA, Feb 28): Great evening at 10th All Star Perche by SCC (WIT Silver). Armand Duplantis achieved his 11th World record by going over 627 without touching the bar. “Felt really good. I made my song for here, for today. It worked. It’s crazy. I love it here, love jumping here, and have a rich history. We are pushing the sport. 630? Yes soon. But today, let’s have a little celebration with cheese and wine,” he said for L´Equipe TV. He had 5 jumps in the evening, all succesfull first attempts (565, 591, 602, 607, 627).

Second Greek Emmanouil Karalis again improved his national record to 602 and after one good attempt at 607 finished the evening. Four others cleared 591, making it the best competition in that statistical fact. Third Kurtis Marschall, fourth Thibaut Collet, fifth Baptiste Thiery (PB), sixth home organiser, and legend Renaud Lavillenie (his best since 2021). Ersu Sasma 7th 585, Ben Broders in 8th 575. European champion Angelica Moser also comes into shape with 476 SB and a win here. Second, Marie-Julie Bonnin, and third, Roberta Bruni 470. Elina Lampela in fourth 460.
