Well, we have a horse race now, don’t we? First Usain Bolt runs 9.72 to Tyson Gays’ 9.85. Then Usain Bolt beats Asafa Powell over 100 meters. Then, Tyson Gay nearly misses moving on, sets AR at 9.77 in heats, runs 9.68 for fastest time in any conditions! Now, Asafa Powell beats Usain Bolt, 9.88 to 9.89 today in Stockholm. Bolt had a sloppy start and Powell got off brilliantly, executing his best race of the year!

Powell beats Bolt by 0.01
STOCKHOLM (SWE): Former world record holder Asafa Powell beat today evening in Stockholm the current world record holder Usain Bolt in hot duel of two fastest men in history. Powell had a great start and won in 9.88 (+0.4), chasing Bolt after bad start was second in 9.89. For Bolt this was his last 100 m race before Olympics and Powell goes with this victory to London where he is due to meet on Friday world champion Tyson Gay. Bolt registered his first loss of the year, the head-to-head this year is so 1:1 with Powell.
