Please enjoy a few photos from the San Jose Rock n Roll half marathon, which was held last weekend, October 5, 2008, for 12,000 runners in the Silicon Valley. The race is festive, with twelve bands and the concert band being Creedence Clearwater Revisted, one of the seminal bands from the Bay Area in the early seventies. Gilbert Okari of Kenya won the Elite San Jose Rock N Roll Marathon for open men.
Roger Craig, a former professional football player for the San Francisco 49ers, completed his third San Jose RnR half marathon. He ran under 1:45 on the course last Sunday, October 5.
