Mo Farah ran a personal best for the indoor mile after stumbling and falling back 20 meters. As is his talent, Mr. Farah caught the field and nearly won the race! Farah is a superstar. He will run the two mile quite fast this weekend. I predicted 8:04. A keen observer predicted eight minutes. We will know in 36 hours!

“I am delighted to return to Ostrava for the sixth time in my
career. It is widely known that I love the meet and it is one of the
first meets that I pencil in my calendar each year. The Golden Spike
meeting always has a full house and the fans are so full of energy –
every year they push me to good performances. It is a good track and
nice stadium where the fans are close to the action. Ostrava will be my
first European Grand Prix in 2012. I have already announced the Golden
Gala in Rome and the Bislett Games in Oslo the following weeks. After
this I will return home to Jamaica to prepare for our Olympic Trials.
