The USATF Oxy High Performance Meet, being held tonight, Friday night, May 18, 2012, is a who’s who of American distance running. Alan Webb is going for the A standard in the 1,500 meters. Galen Rupp is racing the 1,500 meters for some speed work. Dathan Ritzenheim is going for the 5,000 meters A standard.

Brian Olinger, who we wrote about last night, is going for the A standard in the steeplechase.
The men’s 800 meters will feature Andrew Wheating. The women’s 800 meters has Jenny Simpson. In the women’s 1,500m, Maggie Vessey, Phoebe Wright, Anna Pierce, Shannon Rowbury.

And in addition to that, Alan Webb, Galen Rupp and Mo Farah are reportedly pacing the 5,000 meters.
We will have a piece on the event tomorrow, courtesy of our man on the scene, Jon Gugula.
Enjoy!
