It is the eve of the Hollister night the first night of the Pre Classic. It will honor the late Geoff Hollister, employee number three at
Nike, when it was called Blue Ribbon Sports. Geoff was the champion of grass roots, and his spirit can be felt at Hayward Field, a place that he spent many days training, and many nights watching the sport that he loved.
Saturday’s program is three hours of the best track & field clashes that you will see anywhere. What gives this even more cache, is that the 2012 Olympic Trials are weeks away.

The biggest tweet from #Africanchampionships in June was Gina Bass from Gambia as she set an NR of 11.08! #athleticsafrica, @deji_oges, #commonwealthgames2022, #Gambia,

The Gambia's Gina Bass was full of joy as she took down her countries National Record over the 100m in the semis of the African Championships, setting a new mark of 11.08s (+0.1) to qualify as the ...fastest athlete to the final.
