One of the most innovative publishing teams in the Running Network can be found at Michigan Runner. Publishers Art & Jennie McCafferty is a big supporter of digital publications and his approach to providing the digital issue a week before print issue is available is bringing in core readers. Hi all,
We are pleased to present our Jan/Feb issue of the Michigan Runner. This is our second year of introducing our publications online first, with print issues that will follow in the mail and UPS in the next week and a half. This allows for our clients and readers to get their information as soon as it is possible.
Since we started with this strategy, our online readership has exploded. This has been aided by a more sophisticated and user friendly ISSUU software. It does a wonderful job of presenting our publication on computer, iPhone, IPad and screens of other such devices.
In addition, we are presenting our second Video Gallery; this gallery features additional photos of the Headless Horseman, YMCA Santa Run, Original Turkey Trot, Run Like the Dickens, Fantasy 5K as well as the Footlocker Nationals, Latin Music Miami Half Marathon and Chiba, International Ekiden, Chiba, Japan.

Larry Eder has had a 52-year involvement in the sport of athletics. Larry has experienced the sport as an athlete, coach, magazine publisher, and now, journalist and blogger. His first article, on Don Bowden, America's first sub-4 minute miler, was published in RW in 1983. Larry has published several magazines on athletics, from American Athletics to the U.S. version of Spikes magazine. He currently manages the content and marketing development of the RunningNetwork, The Shoe Addicts, and RunBlogRun. Of RunBlogRun, his daily pilgrimage with the sport, Larry says: "I have to admit, I love traveling to far away meets, writing about the sport I love, and the athletes I respect, for my readers at runblogrun.com, the most of anything I have ever done, except, maybe running itself." Also does some updates for BBC Sports at key events, which he truly enjoys.
